Passion Project
Friends is a unique spin on the wave defense genre, a multiplayer ability based game inspired by Risk of Rain and Deep Rock Galactic. I've collaborated with a friend on some visual elements, but otherwise all systems are made by me over the past couple years. It has been my greatest learning experience in the realm of multiplayer and game design as well as the project I'm most passionate about.
Professional Projects
My time at Metameet can be divided into three main projects, Metameet, pax.world and Universal Tutor. I worked on some cross functionality for Metameet and pax, mainly the movement, camera and multiplayer systems, as well a level builder and minimap system for pax. After being transferred to Universal Tutor I served as the main Unity Developer, implementing UI and accompanying API calls.
Portfolio Project
A short project made to showcase VR integration, including picking objects up and dropping them, with accompanying velocity, interacting with UI, simple movement and placing objects with fune tuned controls.
Professional Project
Freelance work on a Clicker Game for Blue Gravity, includes UI, art redesigns, multiple minigames made using strictly UI systems, and general economy systems.
First Finished Project
HyperFeat was my first forray into the game development scene, it's a top-down arena wave clearing game featuring fast paced movement and a large variety of enemies. The systems are poorly designed, the gameplay's difficulty ramps up too quickly and overall the visuals and music are untolerable. Yet I am still proud of my initial creation in this space, in spite of the many changes I would make to it.
